I'M FROM...


I'm from hearing my parents story of crossing the
border from Mexico to the U.S. because it's so interesting
hearing it over and over
I'm from "should i let my hair up or loose" but always
ending up with my hair in a ponytail
I'm from trying to kick the hard rounded ball to the
goalie
and screaming gooaalll!!! until i lose my breath
for the 1st time...
I'm from parents trying to work, and then realizing that
we always
fail them
DOWN
Sometimes I'm even from play fighting with my sister
and punching
her until i think she ends up with a purple bruise, and
then realizing i'm the one ending up hurt
From believing what the Aztecs did for a living
And the to somehow ending up to where Mexico had
finished a war victoriously with Spain
I'm also from having the nicest twin in the world
and believing she would be something really important
in my life
From those moments I see and hear my dad put a CD
and blast the speakers
I'm from those moments my sister is sad and I try to
make her
happy even if it means to act dumb in front of her or
hurt myself but as long as I hear my sister chukle
I'm OK with it
To my mom reading her bible in our room to
having the small hands of my dad to the emotions of my mom
But... back to the attitudeof my dad
I'm from hugging teddy bears until they burst from my happiness when
I was small until now that I'm 13
I'm from considering myself original and not
being on style
I thank God I'm from those 2 people that show that
they love me and
knowing that I have a life to live for
I'm from dreaming that one of these days when I grow up
I'll be on a stage
in front of a million people
I'm from an important part of the tree my parents hold
for us...

I carry a pen, a book, and some looseleaf
I'm carried all around the neighborhood
As soon as my owner gets home i het thrown
away in a corner
Sometimes i stink, i smell,
and well im dirty from the inside
My brand's name is JANSPORT
I come in different sizes, shapes and very different patterns
Iam a bookbag... dirty and smelly
Can't resist the way i look
POOR ME, I DON'T LIKE THE WAY THEY TREAT ME =(

Sitting on natures 1st green is the best moment,
because it's the place that makes you feel calm and happy
Seeing natures 1st flower makes
your day even brighter, knowing that
your in the right place which makes you choose
the right decisions for your life
Seeing the sun reflect its shineness to your face
makes me realize how beautiful your face is, knowing that
i have you by my sides
Feeling natures 1st breeze makes you feel lighter than ever
knowing that your still breathing
Just wish that the day of tomorrow you'll still be
here to see the Natures Beauty again
Sitting and watching the nature sunset is the
best moment to feel shocked
Why??? Because all you see are the bright colrs and a big,
round circular object which in that case it would be the sun
going down while the colors start to fade away
Like the orangy red brushing out like a burst of fire reflecting to everything
is in its way f.e maybe all the nature your sitting on ad also reflecting to your face
and making it more shiny thean it already is
Laying down on the fresh grass and watching the sky while the sky blue
gets bolder and turns into a dark bright blue sky... beautiful right!!
sometimes it makes me wonder if the stars are really what people say they are
like when somebody dies they say that person will be
watching you from up the sky...

What's the author's viewpoint on life in ''The edge is where i want to be.'' well i think it talks about havinh some fun and making life like an adventure. In the poem it says ''take risks and grow up'' i think people shouldn't act mature. Or be yourself and let out what you really are dont hold it like maybe they really like living an extreme life and do really extreme things. sure, the middle is always safe but sometimes breaking the rules won't feel bad sometimes they do but do it once in 10 yrs maybe you will feel free.That's what i think it means.But it might mean to stay in the edge and just live life c0ol, and i think that 2 because of the title ''The Edge Is Where I Want To Be''. bye...
